Black Sands A stretch of strange black sand within the desert. Many snakes and lizards make their homes here since it is so warm, though few other creatures can stand the heat. There is a constant mirage around here which can confuse any wolf that isn't used to it, and cause them to lose their sense of direction and wander the desert, lost. DesertPack wolves know all about mirages, however, and sometimes come here in deseperate times to hunt the snakes and lizards that live here. Moderator: Firemoon |

Scattered Oasis The various oasis scattered throughout the Red Desert (excluding the Oasis Den). They are the only place in the desert where water is plentiful and much prey can be caught around the many oasis. Also, bushes with edible berries and healing herbs grow in plenty around the water of every oasis. Moderator: Firemoon |

Oasis Den The largest of the scattered oasis in the Red Desert, this is where DesertPack stays during the birthing season. There is a large pool of water and many bushes that provide shade with edible and tasty berries growing on them. Moderator: Firemoon |
